November 11, 2018, marks the 100th anniversary of end of World War I (1914-1918). Dr. Joseph Stuart, associate Professor of History at the University of Mary, will continue his conversation on the Perspectives on the Legacy of World War I by relating some of his recent thinking and research on this little thought about connection. Perspectives on the Legacy of World War I is a series of quarterly Sensational Sunday programs focused on events, impacts and activities related to World War I and how they influence North Dakotans’ ways of life, world views and philosophies. The series is a partnership of the State Historical Society of North Dakota and the University of Mary and features quarterly presentations. Sensational Sundays are free programs that include a variety of lectures, concerts, movies, and tours that provide engaging, educational, historic, and cultural information.
