Perspectives on the Legacy of World War I is a series of quarterly Sensational Sundays programs focused on events, impacts and activities related to World War I and how they influence North Dakotans' ways of life, world views and philosophies. Dr. Perry Hornbacher of Bismarck State College will present on the art and design of the WWI posters that are housed in the archives. The presentation on February 18th, 2018, will explore and share a sampling of the thousands of posters created in an effort to shape the public opinion and generate support for this prolong and costly war.
