On Wednesday, June 14, the Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site is hosting Flag Day events from 2 to 4 p.m. The event is free and open to all ages, with activities geared especially toward children. Outdoor activities planned include pinwheel making, story time, music, and ice cream. After pinwheels have been created and decorated, a small parade will take place around the block.
