ASSERTIVE: A seven week, in-person leadership program

Assertive leaders – especially assertive female leaders - get a bad rap. They can sometimes be seen as bitchy, cunning, and untrustworthy. But what if society is wrong? What if being assertive meant something different? These are the characteristics that we focus on here at RAYMA Team™ when we talk about assertive leaders! Becoming more assertive as a leader means that you become more confident, more decisive, and more self-assured. It means you communicate well and express yourself clearly and boldly. It’s a positive thing to become! And we need more assertive leaders that lead with both kindness and boldness in this world. Inside this seven-week program, you'll discover the seven leadership principles you need to embody to step into the shoes of an assertive leader. Objectives: 1. Improve Communication Skills- Discover the basics of communication, how to give a confident presentation, and cultivate the ability to confidently advocate for yourself and the individuals you lead. 2. Master Empathetic Leadership- Bring the heart back to leadership and create an environment of empathetic leaders equipped with healthy coping skills. 3. Strengthen Soft Skills- Learn how to lead yourself and your team with unwavering confidence through the soft skills of forgiveness, creating peace, and being brave in difficult situations.
